Tejas SteelWorks 4WD High Clearance Crossmember

Here it is, our long awaited 4wd crossmember for ’73-’87 K5/K10/K20 and K30/Crew Cab GM Trucks!
This crossmember is based on a factory W crossmember, but has more room for the front driveshaft and cardan joint, and more room for exhaust on the other side. It hangs no lower than a factory W crossmember, and is a close match in weight at approximately 16 lbs.
The Tejas SteelWorks 4wd high clearance crossmember is constructed of 7 gauge steel with a 10 gauge web, and uses a factory rubber or aftermarket urethane transfer case mount, such as the Anchor 2638 or Energy Suspension 3.1129.
We include mounting hardware (six locking bolts). Installation requires drilling. Unlike the OE crossmembers, no spacers are used.
This crossmember is only compatible with “short” transfer case adapters combined with the rubber or urethane mounts listed.
