Description
The Tejas SteelWorks High Clearance cross-member allows you to run dual exhaust pipes, 3 inches in diameter, while keeping it entirely above the bottom of the frame. Even 4″ can be used with minimal hanging below the frame! (C10 and C20 with 6 inch frame rails).
This new cross-member will accommodate any GM 2wd automatic transmission, including 4L60e, 4L80e, TH200-4R, TH700-R4, TH350, TH400 and Powerglide in any ’73-’87 Squarebody (call for your ’60-’72 models); Even 6L80e & 6L90e, when using Tejas SteelWorks motor mounts!
This is a universal fitment, designed for many applications. You will need to drill 4 holes for installation. Premium fasteners and instructions are included.
Recommended transmission mounts are Anchor part# 2392* & 2811, or Energy Suspension 3.1108 or 3.1158* (G or R).
