Tejas SteelWorks C10 Engine Stands

Description

These fabricated engine frame stands replicate the factory V8 engine stands used in 1973-1987 C10 trucks using the clamshell motor mounts. They are sold as a set with the frame side hardware. User provides GM 2292 clamshell motor mounts.

NOTE: These are not LS or LT swap mounts. These are V8 engine stands that accept GM clamshell style motor mounts. These are compatible with factory GM small block and big block V8 and straight six engine brackets, as well as most aftermarket LS and LT swap brackets designed for the ’73-’87 clamshell motor mounts.

We offer two versions:

One version for ’73-’87 C10 models that need a replacement, or to convert a V6 truck to a V8. These are only for ’73-’87 C10 chassis. (the frame is 6″ high at the motor mount location) Call for C20 or C30 options.

The second version is for ’67-’72 C10 models that need to update to the stronger clamshell mounts used in the Squarebody GM trucks. (’67-’72 frames are 5.5″ tall at the motor mount location)

NOTE: 1967 MODEL C10 FRAMES HAVE A FLANGE THAT MUST BE REMOVED FOR THIS CONVERSION.
